Cookies and browser storage
Maiths uses cookies and browser storage for authentication, product state, security, reliability and basic aggregate measurement. No advertising tracker is intentionally configured in the repository.
Essential storage
- Authentication session data may be persisted in browser storage.
- Local marking uploads use IndexedDB.
- Portal and interface state may use localStorage, sessionStorage or an essential cookie.
Analytics
Optional analytics is disabled until you actively allow it. If allowed, Maiths collects aggregate usage and reliability measurements. Analytics events must never contain uploaded page contents, student answers, email addresses or other direct identifiers.
Controls
The consent banner lets you allow or reject optional analytics, and remembers that choice on the browser so it does not ask again. Signed-in users can change the choice later in the Privacy Center. Browser controls can also remove local storage, but doing so may sign the user out, delete locally saved work and cause the banner to appear again.
